About This Blog

I am currently a Visiting Scholar and Professorial Lecturer in Law at the George Washington University School of Law.  Before this I served as the Abraham L. Kaminstein Scholar in Residence at the U.S. Copyright Office.  I’ve also taught at a number of other law schools in the past, including the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and the New York Law School, and I practiced law in New York for a number of years.

Although my primary research is on intellectual property law, I also have a substantial background in commercial bankruptcy and business law more generally, and I clerked for (subsequently Chief) Judge Thomas B. Bennett of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

For those so inclined, my publications can be read from my SSRN page.
